Get people talking about your business. Effective and easy-to-implement PR, influencer and content strategies for startups.
What we do
We create bespoke, do-it-yourself plans that include everything you need to build your business through media exposure, influencer promotion and social media engagement.
Why do-it-yourself? Money can be tight in the early days. But for the business to grow, you need people to donate to your fundraising campaign, buy your product or use your service. We give you the framework to attract people to your business, simply and easily.
Here’s what you need to know in three points:
We develop communications plans for startup founders and small businesses.
Plans are easily executed. No bells and whistles, just proven tactics to help boost your brand.
Plans are tailored to your desired outcome. They can be used to promote fundraising, increase sales, launch to market and much more.
How it works
We’ve worked with dozens of high-profile brands and budding startups for more than a decade, and there have been a few consistent elements of every successful communications campaign. This is what we’ll focus on for your plan. It’s not about being the most creative or innovative. It’s about engaging the right people at the right time, with the right story about your business. That’s where we come in.
1. We’ll meet
Either face-to-face, via Skype or over the phone. First, to talk about the process so you can decide if you want to work together. Then, we’ll talk through a more formal brief. We want to know all about your business, so we can develop the best possible plan for you.
2. You’ll get a plan
Based on our briefing call, you’ll receive a bespoke plan that will include recommended activity, a press release, a list of target influencers, a draft pitch email, and tips for communicating effectively, evaluating the success of your plan and managing potential issues.
3. We’ll check in
You’ll likely have some questions after beginning to implement the plan. That’s why we include two 30-minute follow up calls as part of the package. Ask us anything about the plan in the month after delivery and we’ll work on a solution together.

Naomi Brooker founded SUADA in 2017 after spending the better part of a decade managing major brands at global PR firms. It became clear that while a few brands reaped the benefits of large-scale, creative campaigns, more often than not it was the ‘bread and butter’ tactics, with relevant and down-to-earth communication, that really delivered results.
This simplified approach to communications and marketing works particularly well for startups. But, more often than not, there’s just not enough budget in the early days to pay someone to do the work. That’s how SUADA was born. With clear, concise and easy-to-implement strategies, startup founders and small business owners can promote their business confidently, without sacrificing too much of their budget.
We understand how challenging it can be to develop and launch your own business. You’re taking a risk and hoping people will like what you’re selling. What we can do is help you figure out the best way to position your brand, to promote it and protect it from potential issues. Think of it as a safety net for the early days.
SUADA means ‘persuasion’ in latin and this is what these plans are all about: persuading people to believe in your idea as much as you do.
